謝謝所有出席了2021年11月13日(星期六)的『兒童樂園讀書會』開學典禮。
收到的即場問卷調查結果，所有出席的老師們、家長們均回應，『全日活動』安排非常成功的。企望第二次『讀書會』很快會再舉辦。孩子們表現很開心，看見了自己的Best Friends,又能一起跳舞唱歌、一起學習、一起打功夫……。
老師們教孩子們要感謝爸爸、媽媽專程的帶領孩子們來參加，他們才有機會學習了很多新事物的！
有一些家長向陳校長反映，希望以後能在(星期日)舉辦，肯定將會有更多孩子及華人家庭來參加的。
本校很感謝家長的寶貴建議，現回答如下：校董會經慎重考慮，以後將會有一段時間仍會在（星期六）舉行的；因陳校長公私事務均忙極，沒空再四處查詢新中心：要適合的、治安較佳的、中心領導層很歡迎少數民族的、租金不會太昂貴的、交通方便的、中心內部是很清潔的、保安系統好的……。
家長說因星期六，一般子/女們是有固定的學習課程，是與『讀書會』時間衝突。本校建議順其自然吧。當本校儲夠第二次舉辦『讀書會』的經費時，當會在本校網頁上公布的。請家長屆時再考慮決定吧，請留意本校網頁為要。
有一些很熱心家長提出要家長捐助，但本校不願麻煩家長了，只希望家長推薦朋友們多多購買本校的幼兒讀本、小學讀本，把賣書費存儲起來，希望很快可以再舉辦第二次『讀書會』。
順便告知在11月以後，楊哥哥的“白眉醒獅隊”很可能會開辦每周六的功夫班，注意新消息，注意本校的網頁。再次謝謝大家！

Dear Parents and Teachers
Thank you all for attending the Launch day of “GCCS Children’s Club” on November 13, 2021 (Saturday).
From the on-site survey, both parents and teachers were very satisfied with the arrangement of the day’s activities. Children had a great joyful time with their best friends – dancing, singing, learning Chinese, and kung fu together… Teachers taught children to be grateful to their parents who work so hard to make this special occasion happen. They had the opportunity to learn a lot of new things!
During the consultation, some parents hoped that the GCCS Children’s Club could change to (Sundays) in the future. This will make it easy for them to coordinate their child’s other activities. They think Sunday classes will attract more new students. I can only tell that our school will keep this in mind and can only change it when we find new venue for our Club’s activities. Finding a new venue is a tough job for us. When we search for a new venue, we need to consider the space, security, local transport, whether it is clean and also staff’s attitude. If anyone any have good suggestions, please contact us through this website. Thanks.
As for the next Club’s Day, we need to work hard and raise more money from selling our textbooks. Please help us to recommend these books to your friend. There are some enthusiastic parents who have suggested parent’s donations, but this would not be suitable for some parents. We need to find a sustainable way to fund our clubs.
When we have raised enough money, we will announce the dates on the school’s website, please visit it frequently, or subscribe to our newsletter. Hope it will be soon.
By the way, after November, Brother Yang is likely to hold a Saturday Kung Fu class. We will send out notification as soon as it is starts. Thanks again to everyone!
