Rumours stop with the wise
謠言止于智者

Dear Parents / Teachers / Friends,

A rumour is going round in our school that our wise parents do not believe. In the UK, all schools have head teachers, and all head teachers will retire one day. However, it does not mean that the school should close.

Greenwich Chinese Community School was founded in 1981 and has continued for 44 years until today. One especially important thing that Mrs Chan is working much harder to support and train the wise and kind younger people in leadership roles. They look after the school and work hard with Mrs Chan to in the team who will continue to support the children, parents, teachers, and the school.

Please do not believe the rumours, the school team will continue to help the children. In 2003 and 2004, we received two great honours including the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Award. From September 2025, the children who learn Cantonese can continue to stay in the school. The children who want to learn Mandarin can learn Mandarin as well. We will also run additional cultural and artistic activities.
