Greenwich Chinese Community School and Mandarin School welcomes new pupils for the September 2016 school year!
Our school was established in 1981. We have now been running for 34 years. We have a good academic record, with excellent pupils and volunteer teachers.
In 2003, we received the Queen’s Golden Jubilee award. We were the only weekend Chinese school to receive this great honour. The honour was awarded in recognition of our good work.
Our school provides:
Morning Cantonese school and traditional writing
Afternoon Mandarin school and simplified writing
Age: From 4 to 18 years old.
Classes: Infant classes/ primary classes and GCSE examination classes.
Homework support classes: To support the mainstream school national curriculum in the following subjects: English/ Mathematics/ Sciences from the age of 6 to GCSE and A levels.
We provide support in small groups in teacher: pupil ratios of 1:1/ 1:2 or 1: 3.
Chinese Language classes:
- Bilingual (English and Chinese) support

Listening/ reading/ speaking/ writing
We also provide eight different cultural arts workshops for children (free lessons)Every week the children are given class work and homework.We fully support our pupils to take Chinese or English school subjects for GCSE examinations.
